Intervention Details


EpxDialysis is a proactive electronic intervention designed to improve adherence with scheduled chronic dialysis treatments.

Patients receiving hemodialysis treatments.
Patient receive up to 3 messages per week, which are personalized to the dialysis treatment schedule of the patient. Messages can be phone calls or SMS text, based on patient preference. Messages provide patients with relevant information about their upcoming treatment session and also facilitate easy contact with the dialysis treatment center to accommodate rescheduling changes. In compliance with HIPAA requirements, messages do not contain any data.

There are no alert states for the intervention.


Patients will be directed to call 911 if they are experiencing an emergency. You may designate a care provider to be acutely notified in the event of a defined critical value.
